Ashley Danielson Augustyn

Hello! Thank you for visiting my website and learning more about myself and my business. My little family and I live in the charming town of Elkader, Iowa where I’ve been doing freelance marketing for going on five years now. I’m a proud mom, wife, and community volunteer.

I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2009 and spent almost ten years in Des Moines prior to joining my husband Justin in Northeast Iowa in 2018. I enjoy helping businesses share their story and would love to help you, too!

CAREER Highlights

While living and working in Des Moines, I was fortunate enough to build a community outside of work through various organizations and accomplish goals that I set out for myself as a professional.

  • In 2015, I received the Business Record Des Moines Forty Under 40 award, joining an elite group of achievers within the Des Moines area.

  • During that same year, I completed the Community Leadership Program with the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute. Throughout the program, I learned about myself, the greater Des Moines area and its history, and the impact that each of us can make within our communities. I met some pretty amazing people, too!

  • For five years while in Des Moines, I served on the board for the American Marketing Association’s Iowa Chapter as the VP of Sponsorships. With a spunky group of marketers, we were able to bring the organization in-kind and cash donations totaling $300k+ annually. In 2014, we were awarded Chapter of the Year by the international organization.

Volunteer Work

Since moving to Elkader, I’ve joined a few committees with a motivated group of people within the community who are committed to making it a fun, exciting and active place for young people and to raise a family. Those committees consist of the Main Street Elkader Promotions Committee, Elkader Farmers Market Committee and the Elkader Sweet Corn Days Committee.

Family

I am a native of Humboldt, Iowa, having spent the majority of my childhood and graduating high school from the north-central Iowa town. My parents still reside in Humboldt, along with a handful of high school friends, allowing me to get back to my roots every-so-often.

This is my family in the photo here! Without them, my journey would be so much more challenging. I am thankful for their support throughout all of my career and life adventures!
